How do you clean the interior of your car?

The steps for cleaning the interior of your car are easy and simple, as follows:

Step 1

Prepare the necessary cleaning tools and materials, which are: microfiber towels, a bucket of clean water, a car cleaning brush, interior cleaning fluid, leather cleaning fluid, window cleaner, a vacuum cleaner, and a steam cleaner, if available.

Step 2

Remove all dirt from inside your car, including bags, food scraps, empty water bottles, and anything else you don't need to make cleaning easier. Make sure the car is free of any debris on the seats, under the seats, and on the floors, then remove the floor mats to clean them later.

Step 3

Now turn on the vacuum cleaner and start vacuuming dirt, dust, and debris from the seats, underneath them, on the floors, and in visible and invisible corners. Make sure to vacuum all accessible areas until they are clean and ready for the next step.

Step 4

Now take the towel, put the cleaning liquid on it, and start cleaning the dashboard, steering wheel, center console, door linings, and all solid parts inside the car, including door sills and interior plastic door pillars. Then use a special brush or toothbrush to clean the air conditioning vents, corners, and other hard-to-reach areas.

Step 5

If you have a steam cleaner, it is best to use it at this stage, as you now need to clean the car seats and floors. A steam cleaner will make this task easier. If you do not have one, you can use a special cleaning liquid for fabric or leather, use a special brush or cloth and rub the fabric or leather thoroughly, focusing on stubborn and visible stains.

Step 6

Clean the floor mats using air, then use the same method you used to clean the seats, either with a steam cleaner or a strip with a special floor cleaning liquid. Make sure to dry the floors thoroughly after cleaning them before putting them back in your car so that they do not smell humid if left wet.

Step 7

Now that you have cleaned the entire interior of the car, you should clean the side windows and the front and rear windshields using glass cleaner and a microfiber towel or a special glass cleaning towel. Make sure to clean the windows from the inside and outside and cover all corners and upper edges that are not visible.

Step 8

After finishing the cleaning process, we recommend that you place special paper on the floor to absorb any dirt and keep it clean for as long as possible. Then, place a paper or liquid air freshener in a suitable place to keep your car smelling nice and fresh at all times and to eliminate any unpleasant odors.
