The correct way to adjust headlight
If you want to know the correct way to adjust your car's headlights, it is as follows:
Refer to the owner's manual first
The owner's manual contains headlight adjustment information and how to do this process, or if your car is equipped with a light adjustment feature or not, as the method of adjusting the lights varies from model to model, so knowing this information is very important before starting the adjustment so that you work to adjust it in the right way and not increase its deflection more.
Park your car on flat ground
In this step you must park your car on a completely flat ground, provided that the time is at night or in a slightly dark place and make sure that in front of you is a wall or a flat solid object so that you can adjust the lights on it, and make sure that the car tires are properly inflated, then press all four corners of the car to help level the suspension system, then turn on the headlights, and do not forget to start the car if the battery in your car is weak.
Start the adjustment process
Park the car half a meter away from the wall and the lights should be on the low position, and use the tape to mark the horizontal and vertical lines of the central axis of the left and right light beam when it hits the wall, and make sure to place the tape in the center of the light and not on the sides.

Take a measurement of the difference between the lights
Now you have to measure the lines to see if the lights have the same measurement, that is, measure the distance between the lights and then measure the distance between the tape on the wall, and if the measurements do not match, note the difference and lower the highest centerline to the same height as the lowest centerline mark, and some cars have cross marks built into the lights to help you find the center axis of the light easily.
Move the car back
In this step you should move the car back 7 to 7.5 meters, then note how the center of the lights will be on the wall, and then adjust the lights according to the marks you made on the wall in the previous step.
Adjust the longitudinal level
Find the adjustment screw and slowly turn it clockwise to raise the height of the light or counterclockwise to lower it, then make sure that the most intense part of the beam of each headlight is where the marks you made on the wall.

Adjust the horizontal plane
Turn the screws clockwise to adjust the headlight inward and counterclockwise to adjust it outward, and make sure that the center of the light is in the center of the marks you made earlier, and here you will have ensured that the horizontal and horizontal light center is adjusted and will be in the right place.
Note: While adjusting the longitudinal and horizontal light level, you can cover one of the lights while adjusting the other so that you get a clear light from it and are not distracted by the other light, meaning if you want to adjust the right light, put a towel or carpet on the left light and vice versa until you get the best result.
