What is the correct tire pressure?
There are several sources you can use to find out the amount of air required in each tire of your car, namely:
Tire information plate
The first of these sources is the plate located on the inside of the driver's door. This plate is either metal, plastic, or a firmly attached sticker.
It contains several pieces of information related to the tires, including the appropriate size for your car, the permitted rim size, and the amount of air that should be in each tire. This is usually indicated in PSI, which is pressure in square inches and is used in the Arab world, or kPa, which is kilopascals, a metric unit equal to 1000 pascals, which is not commonly used in our region.
If the plate says that each tire should have a pressure of 32 PSI, you should check all tires to ensure they comply with this number. You should know that this reading is when the tires are cold; if they are hot, the pressure will be two or more numbers higher than it actually is.
