Learn about cruise control
Cruise control is an automatic system that works to maintain the speed of the car according to the driver's request to make driving more comfortable and safer without driver intervention, meaning that the car remains fixed at a specific speed without using the gas and brake pedals.
The advantage of cruise control is that it provides greater fuel efficiency, as your car will consume much less fuel if you are driving on a highway at a constant speed, because you will normally keep your foot on the pedals and use them all the time.
What is unique about this system in modern cars is that it has become adaptive, and it works just like regular cruise control but smarter, as it also works to increase and slow down the speed of the car according to the car or traffic in front of you, and maintains a safe distance between the car in front of you and your car at a constant speed using sensors installed in the front.
